QA TESTER (MANUAL)

£21,000-25,000 (DOE)

Witham, Essex

This is a full-time role based onsite at Dlala Studios in Witham, Essex.

Dlala Studios is recruiting for a dedicated Games QA Tester to join our growing QA department within the studio.

As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of specific areas of the game, managing risk assessments and mitigation, guaranteeing effective test coverage, and maintaining bug tracking and quality for assigned areas.

In this role you will report directly to our QA Lead and collaborate directly as part of the development team. You will work closely with the other members of the QA department to ensure that the studio has effective coverage and a high quality of feedback throughout all its projects.

We are looking for an experienced tester with a passion for QA and a great attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

Work closely with the QA Lead, and development team, to ensure that the products that Dlala Studios produces are to the highest quality
Ensure that we are providing the best user experience to our players by identifying bugs within the products
Write detailed bug reports, including capturing appropriate footage, and providing high quality reproduction steps
Work with the QA Lead to create new test cases for projects
Alongside functional testing, you will run test cases to check against compliance requirements for the target platforms for the projects
Provide input in the department’s workflow and approach to improve efficiency and accuracy

About You:

At least 3 years experience
Worked directly on at least 2 PlayStation/PC shipped titles
Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels within an organisation
Strong attention to detail
A genuine passion for Quality Assurance and delivering the best user experience possible
Experience working within industry standard bug tracking systems, such as Jira/Click-up or equivalent
Able to work autonomously within a given task, whilst remaining confident to ask questions, or seek help, where needed
A drive to progress and grow within their career

This is a full-time role based in-house at our offices in Witham, Essex in England.
