Studio Manager

STUDIO MANAGER

Up to £37,000 (DOE)

Role Brief

The Studio Manager is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations, administration and maintenance ofthe studio. They are key to the continuous development, establishment and maintenance of company policy; inparticular, those relating to health and safety, best-practice and best-value principles.

The Studio Manager is a hard-working professional, with significant experience working in a similar role or an alternative occupation with the transferrable skills required to work within business operations.They are multi-disciplined with the ability to undertake and prioritise a variety of tasks across a number of projects, as well as the general day-to-day tasks associated with office management. 

They are comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and proactively strive to continuously improve the working environment and efficiency.


Main Responsibilities

  • Management and maintenance of Health & Safety Policies
  • Overseeing and agreeing the selection of and contracts with service/utility providers
  • Management and organisation of studio development and required maintenance work/projects
  • Implementation and maintenance of procedures/administrative systems
  • Budget management: BAU studio running costs and project-specific
  • Creation of reports and/or presentations for the Senior Leadership Team, as necessary 
  • Management and organisation of studio events (both inhouse and external)
  • Management and distribution of general correspondence, as required (letters, packages etc.)
  • Record maintenance (personnel, client and supplier information, facilitation information for financial processes, as necessary)
  • Stock management of office supplies and refreshments
  • Providing assistance to the Senior Leadership Team and colleagues as required 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as an office/studio manager or operations support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Outstanding organisation skills
  • Experience of budget creation and management
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of MS Office
  • GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above 
  • Ability to complete work accurately with great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct research and evaluate information to facilitate decisions and/or recommendations
  • Ability to drive and/or facilitate change on both a reactive and proactive basis

Location

This role is full-time working on-site at our studio located in Witham, Essex.
